Steve Saint is an American missionary and author known for his work with the Waodani tribe in Ecuador. He is the son of Nate Saint, one of the five missionaries killed by the Waodani in 1956. Steve continued his father’s legacy by living among the Waodani and helping them build a sustainable community. He also founded the organization I-TEC (Indigenous People’s Technology and Education Center) to provide technology and training to indigenous communities around the world. Steve has written several books, including “End of the Spear” which was made into a feature film in 2005.
